How we handle your information
Confidential by default
We don't name clients, publish their locations, or use their work in marketing without written permission. Case studies on this site are anonymized.
Your data stays yours
Systems are built in accounts and tenants that you own. We use only the access a job needs, and when the work ends we return or securely destroy what we hold.
Photos of equipment, never people
We may photograph racks, wiring, devices, and configuration screens to troubleshoot and document your systems. We never photograph people or personal information, and photos stay in your project records. They are never used in marketing or shared without your written permission.
Security built in
MFA everywhere, least-privilege access, encryption in transit and at rest, and patched, company-managed devices. Credentials are kept in a password manager and never in email or chat.
Documented and handed over
Every build comes with configuration records and runbooks, so you're never locked in to us.
Prompt notification
If we suspect an incident affecting your information, we tell you promptly and work through it with you.
How we use AI
AI makes us faster. It doesn't replace an engineer's judgment, and we treat your data carefully when we use it.
Engineers stay accountable
We use AI-assisted tools to research, write code, and draft documentation faster. A spinrag engineer reviews, tests, and takes responsibility for everything we deliver.
Avoid, minimize, anonymize
Our default is to keep client information out of AI tools. When AI genuinely helps a project, we share only what's needed, anonymize it where possible, and use business-grade services that don't train on your data.
Approved tools only
We use business-grade AI services under company accounts with administrative controls, never personal or free consumer accounts.
Your rules apply
If your policies or contracts restrict AI use, we follow them. If you'd rather we not use AI tools on your project at all, tell us and we won't.

This website
This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts, and its fonts are served from this site rather than a third party. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or collect personal information. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving bot check. When you submit the form, it is delivered to us by email (through SendGrid), and we use what you send to respond to you. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs to deliver and protect it. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
